The seventh match of the Indian Premier League 2019 (IPL 2019) saw Mumbai Indians travel to Bengaluru to face Royal Challengers Bangalore as both the teams looked out for their first win in the tournament.

Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock added 54 runs in 6 overs, but then a slew of wickets fell. Rohit (48), De Kock (23), Suryakumar (38) and Yuvraj Singh (23 in 12) all fell in quick succession.

Yuvraj Singh smacked three sixes in three balls to Chahal, who then had him caught on the fourth ball. Chahal ended up with figures of 4/38 in four overs. Apart from him, Hardik Pandya smacked 32* in 14 balls with 3 sixes and 2 fours leading MI to 187/8. Pandya hit one six over the roof of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, off the bowling of Mohammed Siraj.
